From a young age, I knew I was meant to work with animals. Growing up with a golden retriever, I spent my childhood grooming her, teaching her tricks, and taking her on long walks—my passion for pet care started early and never faded.
At 18, I began working at a local veterinary clinic, where I helped care for up to 80 dogs alongside a dedicated kennel team. During my five years there, I gained valuable experience in grooming—starting with basic “summer cuts” and nail trims, and gradually working up to breed-standard grooming upon request. I was also trained in administering medications and vaccines, running basic diagnostic tests, and performing blood draws.
After a short time at another clinic, I realized how much I missed grooming and began pursuing it full-time. In 2006, I joined a grooming salon where I was immediately immersed in breed-specific styling. I remained there for nearly three years, honing my grooming skills and deepening my knowledge of canine care.
In 2010, I welcomed my son and chose to become a stay-at-home mom, occasionally grooming on the side. I’ve continued to stay connected to the industry, caring for my own golden doodle and maintaining my grooming skills.
In 2021, I returned to the pet care field at a local daycare facility, where I’ve enjoyed providing loving, attentive care to all kinds of animals. My husband and I have always dreamed of working together, and now we’re combining our strengths to offer professional, compassionate, and personalized pet sitting services.
